Would it be possible to get some pictures of how you store your clamp collection? Everything I have tried has not worked out to my satisfaction. Thanks in Advance. -Don

Hi Wooddawg

Here are some of my clamps, others seem to get tossed all about the place and left on the bench etc.

Here is some of my clamps. Not all of them by any means. I don't know what I'm going to do if I need the ladder for something.

Note the many of these are simply clamped or hung on a 2x4 screwed to the studs. It's simple cheap and it works. I started usin this for pipe clamps.

Rod and Badbob,

Thanks for the pictures, lot of great advise here for clamping things. You are so right Bob, the need for the ladder could present an interesting moment in time.

Wooddawg,

Give the 2x4 a try. You can hang just about any clamp on it. If the wall is really solid you don't have the camp them down. Just close them up and they will stay. Unfortunately my wall is not real sturdy. A few good bumps on the other side and suff start coming off. The pipe clamps are not clamped tight. I just close the jaws until they are within a 1/32 of an inch wider then the 2x4 and they will just hang there.

Ya know Badbob I'm thinking that ladder is a bit to expensive of a clamp holder unless you found it on the side of the road [biggrin]

Otherwise your clamps are just 2 neat and organized. If mine was like that why I could find a clamp instead of tripping all over them or moving them around the table cause they in the way LOL

Ed. The ladder was free and was only used if I had to get on the roof for something.

As far a neat goes, I had to do something. I could not find the bench. Oh, I didn't show you the pile in the corner.
