After watching this video where he cuts a 1/8x1/8 inch strip of wood on a table saw this went from my wish list to must have and I bought the newest version.

I found 2 of the Grr-Rippers in my xmas stocking.
They are fantastic on the table saw for smaller pieces.

You will not be disappointed.

Cheers

I've had them on my wish list for a long time. No one ever took the bait. I think that when my family looks at my wish list they avoid those that they done understand.

The one I bought was some kind of special deal that included the 1/8 inch leg they only had one in stock or I would have bought two.

The video really pushed me over the edge. I like the way they design all of their tools to work together and that the have replacement parts if you accedently cut it.

Today I ordered one together with the 1/8" leg.
I made a table saw sled for small parts but the one doesn't always do the job when pieces are longer.
This GRR thing is a nice addition to my collection of safety jigs.

Thanks for the tip!

Great device - for the few times I use a table saw it provides a level of safety and ingenuity you just can't beat!!

+1 on this jig!  I just ordered one as well and wouldn't have if I hadn't seen the video you posted.  Thanks BadBob!

I have a second one on the way. The one I ordered came with the 1/8 inch leg. They only had one available. I checked back after I got the first one and there was one more available. So I ordered it. I used up all of my Discover card cash back that I had been ignoring and a few dollars more.

I really like the taoer jig too. I don't need one right now but if a future project requires tapers I will !ikely order one.

Here is another video that shows lots of ways to use the jig.

Get comfortable it's two hours long.

I cut this today from a 2x4 using the Grr-Ripper and my band saw. It's slightly less the 1/8 inch. The cut is a bit rough due to a 4 tpi resaw blade.
