Hi Everyone,
I have built the $4 Hot Rods from the plans Cynthia and John were kind enough to post. I enlarged the plans to 110 percent in order to use wheels I had in the shop. The cars are made from 1 1/2" Bass wood for the body and 1/8" Pine for the flames. I stack cut the 1/8" pine all at the same time to make it faster and easier. I then brushed on a coat of sanding sealer, sanded smooth, and used spay gloss enamel for the finish.
I was going to do a step by step but Bucko's was great and I had nothing else to add.
I had to include my QC staff in the last picture!

Brian,

Very nicely done. Looks like the QC control group gave you a all paws up as well.

I bet these will sell really well at flea markets and such...

Thanks for sharing.

Super duper cute.  I like the white front on the headlight, red on taillights and edges still the color of the vehicles.  I really like your two helpers.

Good question Bob as I liked the idea of these plans although I'm quite sure they weren't published.

I searched all over. Sure that I had seen plans for them. All I ever found was a preview pattern I had from somewhere. I'm assuming that's what these cars are made from.

Hey Everyone,
I built these cars from the plans that John and Cynthia posted free of charge. I'll need to go through my files to see when they did it. I'm pretty sure that it was in June of 2016 and I was sure that Bucko had also made these because I mentioned that he did a step by step. I'll look and see if I can find the date the plans were published.

Just sent you an email. If you send me one back I should be able to attach the plan and send it back to you.

Cheers
