Thought I would share my latest Pens from the lathe.

2 of these are called Lever Action bullet pens. These came out really nice and I had them sold almost as soon as they cam off the lathe (Yea)
One is Antique Nichol and the other is Antique Brass

The other one is a Celtic Pen, this Pen has a very nice feel in the hand
These are fun to make on the lathe and even better when I sell one or 2 LOL
Enjoy....

Nice work.  I loved making pens, you have got me wanting to get back to it.  I like the acrylics that you use.

Nice work Ed.
These look great.

Not having a lathe, this is something I have never done, but can sure appreciate the work put in.

Cheers

Thanks for the kind comments.
I like doing these as it's relaxing to me watching how a blank goes from a square not very pretty looking blank to the finished product that just shines and looks so awesome.....

Now I just need to sell a few of these LOL

Very nicely done Ed, I've fallen behind on keeping up with the pen styles but I'm thinking you are keeping up with the cartridge style versions .

Thanks Bucko,

In my neck of the woods (KY, USA) we have a hi number of hunters and other gun enthusiasts, so the gun related Pens are a big hit LOL.

These beautiful.

Lots of people making pens out there. I have one I got as a gift made from 30-06 Brass. It's really cool but mostly it just sits on my desk. It makes me wonder about who still uses pens on a regular basis. In the past I used them so much that I have a permanent writers bump. Now days I rarely touch them. I keep my notes in the cloud. Mostly Google Drive.

Nice looking pens.  Have you tried any of the laser cut kits.  They are a challenge, but the results are well worth it.

Scrolldaddy,
Thanks for the kind comments. So far I have only done one of the laser cut kits. It was when I first starting turning pens and I had a heck of a time getting everything in place and turning it down. It was  kit that had a bass as the cut outs.

It came out ok but I was not really happy with it and have not revisited them LOL. Maybe now 3 yrs later I might be more comfortable doing one....
