Hi all,
As a total beginner, I was wondering what you all think of this machine.

Proxxon DSH 2 Speed Scroll Saw

I dont have a lot of money, & therefore cannot afford to buy things that might not do the job.
The machine highlighted is 2nd hand(made a couple of jigsaws, but doesn't want to do scroll sawing anymore), in "as new" condition and is being "offered" for sale at £195.
All advice/comments greatly received.
Thanks.

I have one of these as well as a shop FULL of Proxxon equipment - beautiful stuff and extremely well designed and built!!

As long as you are not going to be making a lot of through cuts like fretwork it should do fine. If you use this for fretwork you will soon find the blade changes to be tedious.

Ok thanks.
I will be using the saw just for the "Toymakingplans" and for some Jigsaw patterns I have.
So, that seems like it could be the right scroll saw for those types of work.
