For quite awhile now I've been wanting a Viking Ship to go along with my Madagascar Pirate Ship that I made this past summer. The plan is designed by Lloyd a previous forum member that has impressed the forum in the past with his scroll saw skills then his design skills.
The Ship is perfect proportion to go along with the Pirate Ship although I did modify the plan with the addition of the Oars while the rest of the Ship is according to design.
The Hull is made from Poplar,Oak and Hickory for the center Dragon section while the Sail is highlighted using a piece of Reclaimed Chestnut to add a worn vintage look. The Ships dimensions are approx. 18" long x 15"high x 5" wide. Enjoy the views of my build [smile]

Garry please do consider the Pirate Ship as upon completion you would be quite proud of your results. There's a thread here on the forum where I had the forum follow me along on my build of the Madagascar Pirate Ship. I'm sure in the future John will add another Ship to go along with the Pirate Ship and I'll be glad to work on that one as well.
