Had a Firefighter friend saw this on the website and started drooling. Told me I needed to make it for him. I got the plans and when I saw the exploded view my thoughts were "what did I get myself into".

A most fantastic job! You got yourself into a fine firetruck. I hope your friend will love the finished product.

He is very excited!! He is a fire instructor and he is going to put it in his office. I also made a Dalmatian to go with it!!

Wow well done, and a great paint job. Did you paint all the pieces then assemble or assembled then painted?

Tony, I painted then assembled. I assembled the main body and marked where the other pieces would be going on it.

I don't have pictures of the step by step process. My work set up is not really good for that. Maybe one of these days

I don't work on 1 thing at a time, so it's hard to say how long it took.
