The headlights and running lights have been positioned lower
Running and tail lights have been fitted flush
Also tail light are smaller than plan

When I was talking about the head lights I thought I saw that the front of the dowel was not flat.
It appeared to me that you might have drilled from the side creating a little fender detail over the top of the headlight.
I could be mistaken.

Part 12 in the plan has a small curve but i just used the belt sander and pushed the light further in. The plan shows headlights

Now I see - thanks for the quick reply.
I like the look.
Quite appropriate for the time period.
Reminds me when they put headlight skirts over the lights - I think they were called Half moons.
