Rig #3 of a fleet of 6. The Livestock Truck. It's right off the bench. Hopefully, you can see the carving that I have incorporated into the build.
It is 15" long by 5" tall and 3.5" wide. Built from select pine and finished with a furniture grade polyurethane.

Nice!!!! Cute carving the animals.  How long does it take to add the detail to the animals?  I know you said your background was in carving so I'm guessing you can carve them fairly quick.

I would estimate that it takes me about 20 minutes per animal.

These trucks and animals are works of art. We would love seeing a YouTube video attached to a post that shows how you do this. Beautiful work!

If anyone is interested in carving animals, please just go onto UTube and look up Gene Messer. He has thousands of carving videos and many of them being folk art animals. A real pro and mentor in the carving world that shares his skill for free.
