Not posted for a while so I will show a couple of things that I have been up to, this is due mainy to being busy with woodturning and writing articles for a magazine.

Wow, these are great.

Is that a metallic paint on the vases? 
They look like glazed pots, I would be interested to hear about how you did this.

Nicely done. I really like the dog. I really want to try Intarsia, did you design the pattern or buy it somewhere...?

The vases look really cool as well, but way outta my league   [thumb]

Wow.  These are amazing, that metallic paint is very impressive and a wonderful effect.  Cute intarsia pup.  That is on my list of things to try.

Thank you everyone as some of you know I like all forms of woodwork which also includes experimenting with colour and texture on turned pieces but only on bland wood.

The paints are Iridescent paints and was applied using a scrunched up piece of paper and dabbing it on one colour at a time. The metallic looking one had 5 different colours applied to get the effect you see here

The dog pattern was a drawing I found and changed for my purpose as I am no artist
