Wow TommyT You Have Been Busy
I really like these, simple and clean and great paint job on the green and red ones.
I liked the yellow detail on the green one.
What finish did you use on the plain wood tractor and trailer?
Thanks for sharing, and I can see why your Grandson loves them, because I do.

Thanks Ken.  I used Orange Oil on the wood, let it soak in overnight, then give it a couple coats of Bullseye Spray Shellac.

Tommy T - All the tractors and the trailer look great. You must have gotten a big smile and hug from your grandson - makes the time you spent in the workshop well worth it.

Tommy, it's no wonder your grandson loves those tractors, they're terrific. I like the coloured ones particularly but the rear wheels on the others are outstanding. Did you make them yourself or can you buy them?

Ceefa, I buy my wheels from craft parts.com.  I don't have the tools, time or skill to make my own.

DavidT, sorry I can't claim the credit on the tractor as it is TommyT's work. TommyT, I would love to buy my wheels from craftparts but to buy a packet of 500 3/4 inch wheels for the Super Playpals from craftparts which is $17.50 would cost me over $100 NZD and as I give most of my toys away it is a bit too much of an outlay.

Ceefa ...wow that's is a lot of money!!!  At that price I would be making my own wheels too!!!

DavidT---I got the pattern for the tractor on the internet somewhere.  I believe I did a search for Tractor Scroll Saw on Goggle and it came up.  I varied the size of the pattern on my copy machine to get the different sizes.

The trailer was my own design.
