After making the half track I needed to do something simple so I went and turned a bowl.
This bowl made from Chestnut burr and measures 9" X 4 1/2" Finished with a food safe oil/Mineral oil and then woodwax 22 paste and hand buffed. This is following on from my question To burn or not to burn

I've done a little turning and In my opinion you must be really good if that's a simple turning. But after the half track I guess.

Derek,

Ummmm simple turning I don't think so. Well maybe for you after the half track LOL

If I had tried that it would have blown out in a hundred pieces...

That is one nice figured wood.......
