This is the Ancient Persia Zoo Galley Ship. I built it in 1/2 scale, the original was just a bit too big for me.

I used Baltic Burch plywood for the ship and pine for the bowsprit (item 10 and 14). Because the ship is in 1/2 scale the 3 item 14 pieces was made in one piece each.

This was a fun project and I enjoyed it very much. I would recommend it to anyone.

That's a really nice job. I have that plan somewhere but I've never built it yet. Maybe later this summer.

Yikes. I just printed that plan off. It's much bigger than I originally thought. I might try to modify the decorative elements of the side panels to make that particular section closer to the 6 inch mark.

Trav - Yea, I thought it was a bit big, that's why I scaled it down by half. I hope you have as much fun as I did making yours.
