Yes I have made a few over the years.

This is more art than craft yet beautifully practical. I wonder how a website with a line of creative bird house plans like these would do. I'll bet it would be a roaring success! These are masterfully done Udie.

Bird House Stencils Used and Branding Iron

Here is a photo of the stencils I used when making the bird houses.

Top left - bats, right of that under the cloud is the little bird, below that the butterfly, lady bug and lastly various Christmas trees.

To the right of the stencils are the two (2) cats I used. These were wooden laser cut-outs.

When you are out and about ... it pays to take a look at the "clearance tables/shelves". Many times at the end of a season, Halloween, Christmas, Spring, Fall etc. stores are pretty much giving away unsold items, in an attempt to dump stock. Stock which they do not have any shelf space for (because it is out of season)or no room to store them in.
The stencil with the lady bug was price tagged at $1.00, but I think I only paid $0.25 per stencil. Same the laser cut-outs. You can find some great finds - don't miss out.
