Mega Big-Rig GIANT Wrecker Truck

I have attached 2 photo's of a breakdown truck that I made. It is made pieces of scrap oak, silky oak, imbuia, pine and  ply wood. It is approximately 200 mm in length. I battled with the hoist cradle and the gears and was lucky the 3rd time.

Wow Dolf

Two great looking trucks, I really like the truck being towed.  What an artist you must be.
I am super impressed.  Your woods, and the use of them is fantastic.
Are you making your own wheels?  Looks like they are rounded over on the edges, is that done with a router.
Your finish on the trucks is also outstanding.
Thanks for sharing your work.

Dolf - Two great looking trucks. Lots of fine woodworking details and the finish is outstanding. Having a tow truck that functions will guarantee hours and hours of play time. Excellent job my friend.

Hi Dolf Joubert,
Great jobs on the two trucks and very nice timber colours there.
A lot of detail went into them. Top stuff.
Cheers Graham.
