Hello Everyone

Also finished of a Ciccarelli Gran Prix Racer on the weekend.
Body is Camphor Laurel, Sides are Tasmanian Blackwood and the Guards are New Guinea Rosewood.

Also a picture of the jig I put together for drilling the light sockets for dowels etc.
I also used this jig to drill the centre hole for the grill after cutting hand joining the body sections. My Scrollsaw can't handle 1.5 inches too well. I was a bit worried about drilling after cutting etc. but I used a wave cutter forstner bit and it worked really well.

Some very exotic woods, at least here. Workmanship is also top notch.

Another masterpiece and a great example of thoughtful toymaking. The jig is an excellent idea and thanks for sharing that with us. I will be making one of these. Beautiful toy.
