Hello,

Converted the Cub into a floatplane using the Helicopter base from the Four Quick N Easy Airplanes plans.

Here in Alaska we have a lot of float planes and thought I’d try to make a float plane. I think it turned out pretty good, first time I’ve converted and combined plans.

Made from Cedar and Pine.

Thank you for viewing,

Chad

Good remodel Chad, reminds me of Lake Hood, among others.

Thank you all for the kind compliments, eburk it sure does remind me of lake Hood. I’ve lived in Alaska for over four decades and out of all the planes I’ve flown in all over Alaska, float planes have been my favorite...especially the Beaver. I’d really like to get a hold of some plans for the Beaver Float Plane.

What a great idea to put the floats on the plane. Last time my wife and I were in Alaska we took a ride in one of those.

Great job!
