Proxxon blade number 5, oak wood and some linseed oil. Not as smooth cuts as I would expect, but our kids (3 and 5yr) love it.

That's really nice. It's hard to get a sense of the size though. Roughly how tall is it? I agree with eburk, if there's a pattern out there can you point us towards it?

Thanks. I got it from member of other scroll saw forum for free. It is 19cm/7,5" tall and 16cm/6,3" wide.
