This is the latest toy I am working on. This is the Easy Basics Truck. I haven't finished the tractor yet. It is poplar wood and the truck body was baked to get the brown color. I added the dow rod on the trailer to hold the tractor on the bed.

Ken- it was 2 hours at 400 deg F.
I am baking the tractor as we speak.

Don - Your truck looks great. I like how after 2 hours you got a very even finish after baking the wood.

All three pieces look great and what a nice baking job on the tractor.
I think the flat bed truck might need an add on, something like a hitch assembly so that you can pull the small trailer with the flat bed.

It's funny you say that about the hitch. I gave this to my 3 year old grandson to play with and he was trying to figure out how to attach the trailer to the truck. Seems like a good idea.
