Just finished this model. My first using Hardwoods as most of my other models/toys are made with offcuts of construction timber, cut and planed to size. Timber used is Oak and some Chestnut. Finish is a hard wax oil we used on Hardwood Doors, safe for Toy use when dry. Have been modelling for about 9 months since I retired and enjoying every minute.

Hi Ken,

This is some fine workmanship and an impressive project. I like the finish and choice of woods. How long is the truck and trailer together?
