I developed these toy trains prototypes for Craft Shows in mid-2019 then got caught up in medical issues. The parts photo is for the Hobokin Toy Train which is the smaller puzzle, freight and alphabet train. All wheels are 1" in diameter. The big train is the Ozark Pufferbilly and will have a large set of various cars. It  has 1-1/2" wheels. What do you think?

Do the letters etc stay on the train when it is pulled?

My grandson would give it back and tell me it was broken if the pieces slide off when it moves.

Yes, the letters stay in place, loosely wedged between the two sides. The sides will be a little taller to make sure of the fit.
