20171224_133803.jpg I have a 3 year old grandson that's getting the orange one for Christmas today. One of my new year's resolutions for 2018 is to get better at painting these projects.

The paint finish is pretty fine as it is. Thanks for sharing this wonderful pair of toy helicopters on Christmas morning. Did you work all night? These are beautiful. I love the colors.

Great job! Did you use primer? I'm just learning, haven't even bought any paint yet.

Thanks. No primer just Krylon spray paint. I like it better than Rust-Oleum. I lightly sand after the first coat.

I use Heritage craft paint to paint my toys then I spray a coat of clear laquer over the paint to give it a shine.
