Yes. It is 14" from the foot rests to the seat surface. He will love it!

Looking at the plans it looks like I'll need 22 inch wide boards for these.

Got any tips on how to glue up wood for these?

What about plywood? Obviously this has to be good quality.

I'm curious on the answer to this question also hopefully from a forum member that's built this. I'd like to ask what the thickness is of the piece in question. Thanks--

I was hoping to have a rocking horse for Christmas. I bought materials for the new one thats in the works. It has not been released yet so I bought these plans thinking I would be able to build this one. It's more complicated and I don't know if I will have time to get it done.
