Red hubs this time. Not my personal favorite but I have an actual paying customer that likes these. The red really pops when you coat the flat acrylic with blonde shellac.

Thanks, these all started as spray shellac but I had to revert to brushing because the humidity was so high the alcohol was collecting moisture right out of the air. In one case the shellac looked like it had dew on it. I always finish wheels with a brush. 

I'm learning as I go and getting better at finishing. I see the progress. Shellac may be my finish of choice because I can get good results with a brush.

There isn't going to be much toy making going on around here for awhile. The eye of Hurricane Irma is projected to go right over my home.

Glad you all made it through the hurricane safe! That amber shellac sure does make a fine finish.
