I'm trying to upload a video and it doesn't seem to work. Do you have a tutorial on it?

Hi Frank,

I need to make a tutorial on this subject since we currently don't have one in the forum.

Rather than "uploading" a video the video needs to be embedded in the forum. I'm assuming you uploaded your video to YouTube. You'll need to link to your video from YouTube. The embedded video will overhang the right edge of the forum because our forum isn't wide enough, but that's OK since it will still be perfectly viewable and watchable.

To embed a video you first have to create a YouTube channel and then upload your video to the channel. Once the video is on YouTube it then has an embed code unique to that video. Just copy the YouTube embed code and paste this code into your post in between the video tags like this:

.

By putting your YouTube video code between the tags the video is then embedded into the post and will now be viewable.

You are so smart Cynthia, it is almost scary.
Is posting videos on YouTube a good way to get traffic to go to your other sites, like ETSY?

Hi Ken,

YouTube is the best place to host your videos. And it's FREE! You can create your own channel, upload your videos and then link to your Etsy site in the video description.

You can read more about YouTube channels: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/4568863?hl=en&ref_topic=1360734

Thanks Cynthia for the info about YouTube.
Now the question for me is; do I take that step to advance my business?
You are always so helpful, and I want to again say thank you.
