One of my other many hobbies. I'm a re-enactor in a very craft heavy group. If we can, we don't buy stuff, we make it! We also help each other out. A couple of newbies could do with a box, So I made one. Got another couple to make but I may let our carpenters do that. tony's box1.jpg  tony's box2.jpg  tony's box3.jpg

nice box Boubon,

Question: is it ues as a stow away box for toys for children?

If so, I suggest that you put a damper on it, so the lit cannot fall down onto arms/hand/heads. I put recently a damper on a box for my grandson ... safety first.

It seems that it is with a great force, the lit falling down

Peter. The boxes are used in a medieval setting. A damper will not be put on them. If the kids catch their fingers, well, they won't the next time. I would have posted the video of our group, But as the kids are doing things that have the potential to hurt them, I better not.

Thank you for your comment. Our blacksmith is very talented. All the more so, when he made the hinges in the middle of a field!
