DSC05955_mini.JPG  Just wanted to post the first Mock up of the Huey from the Military-Miniatures-vietnam-Huey-air-base.

This is just the test demo put together with scraps and parts and pieces just to see how it worked.
Went together well and only took a couple of hours.
I did change the side by eliminating several small windows and put the bigger door in it place.  This is how I remember seeing most of the pictures of the Huey from the Vietnam area.  Besides it was quicker cutting one big opening rather than two smaller ones.

The photos below are not the best but at least you get the idea.

This is a fun little build and will be great with all the options we can add to it.
I am looking forward to doing more with it.

Sorry about the photos, I will show better ones later.

Ken - These look great. I looks like it took no time to make. Your photos are excellent and deceiving at the same time - hard to tell how big they are - they look bigger than HO scale. Looking forward to seeing the other items from that plan set.

Thanks Gary
Most of the stuff in the photo is military stuff for a diorama of a military base.
The Huey painted army green will fit in.
