Hi All -
I've been super busy with my day job but had a special request so I made the following.  My client's grandson hated family camping so she wanted a camper toy for him.  But one to play in the dirt and smaller.  He is 4yrs old.  I shrunk down the Yellowstone camper so the car had a 1" wheel.  Because it is smaller you have to lose some of the detail but I think it turned out very cute.  The request was to have it natural 0 I did put a little stain for the highlight pieces.  This photo is before the satin poly finish (also requested).

The camper was a success, he played with it in the sand and was so proud that he got his camper before his parents.

Great Job Cindy
Really like the color combination.  What wood did you use.
And who would have ever guessed you might have shrunk the pattern size down.[wink]

Thanks Ken - this is popular - the whitest I had, sometimes it is greenish and doesn't look good when you put the clear coat on it.  I didn't put any of the furniture from the plan in the camper so the kids can put all their little things in there.  I got that idea watching another little boy playing at dinner with a car I had brought him.   He was very intent on packing all the plastic bugs he had into the car.  it was the corvette so not much room but he had them all riding on the car.  It is good to watch the way kids play and see what really interests them.  On this same camper another friend liked it and he wants to get one for a friend that owns a camp ground as a thank you for a project.  On that one there will be furniture that comes with the plan.
And yes, surprise, I made the plan smaller.  [biggrin]

Thanks all - and yes, Udie "honey I shrunk the kids" does ring a bell.  You can count on me to make a plan smaller.  [biggrin]   The picture doesn't show but at this size you can still get in some headlights and taillights and a little grill work.  It even has the license plate on the car and camper - I wish I would have taken some more shots before I let it go.  And it is good to know these things are steardy enough to be played with in the sand and dirt.  The little boy I gave the corvette to was taking in full weight on rocks and cement and it also made a trip to the beach.  It is still going strong.  I have 2 kids that I regularly see that get the test cars.  They are 3 & 4, one is gentle player and other is rough.  I'm lucky to have such good quality testers.

Hi Cindy
It is great to have such good testers for your products.  We have our Grandson Jacob, a gentle player, and our Cousin's Son who is a litter terror.
Anyway keep up the good work, and thanks again for sharing.

Cindy,
Looks great.  I thought the accents were purple heart.  The stain went on very even.
