highlander - Both look real good and excellent workmanship.
I was going to guess the Mustang was Mahogany because of the grain.

These are so nice.  The size comparison is funny on the size difference.  I like both.  What kind of finish are you going to put on the mustang.  Mahogany, for me, finishes good at first but then starts looking dried out.  Just wondering if you had special tips with mahogany.  The corvette finish looks perfect.  Thanks for sharing with us.

thanks for your comments I use Velle Wood Finish..that finish is water base.Velle Wood is sealant and finish.
