This was a fun little design and build.  My kids have been asking for a bulldozer for a couple of months now.  They have taken it through their abusive testing procedure and it has held up well.

banderson (Bradly) - Nice, really nice. Curious what woods did you use.
Your top coat finish looks perfect - did you brush on or spray.

The wood is poplar with oak dowels.  I use an air brush for finish.  It really works great for small parts.

Very nice.  I like all the fun details, moving front and back.  The finish looks almost silky it is so perfect.

Here is the next set in the construction equipment.  The kids love them and the toys are passing the durability testing they put them through.

These are GREAT!!!  Awesome design and looks like so much play fun.  Again, love the silky finish.  How did you get that curve on the shovel and about what size are these.  Is the shovel cut with a bandsaw....   so many questions.  Popular is a great softer hard wood to work with.
