Grandpa Bear
I know this is not one of John's plans but I did take some inspiration from the ones on this site.

The cabin and deck which are attached lift off and the animals live inside.

Many thanks to peterv who advised using jute string for the animals tails. It worked really well. Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190807_131847588.jpg, Views: 60, Size: 231.19 KB

Here are a few of the ark animals with the jute string tails as Peter V suggested.

Fixed by drilling a small hole insert jute with a drop of superglue and then glue in a piece of cocktail stick to make sure it stays put. Also put a little child safe clear acrylic sealer just above tail end to stop any unravelling of jute.

GrandPa ....

you can also colour the tials by putting/soaking them in some strong tea or coffiee.
