Finished the Ark a couple of weeks ago and now just got an order for another three 

must be a lot of rain forecast for this area 

bet Noah didn't have to build more than one !!!

I got a big laugh out of your comments. That's a great wood for the animals. What is it? The ark is neatly constructed and painted. What type of paint did you use. Are the pieces clear coated or natural? I like the combination of wood and color on the ark. I can see why you have sold three  more!

I used wood dyes for the colour and then finished with a clear varnish (Polyvine wax finish) - the animals were made out of scraps - Beech, Ash, Sapele, Poplar, Oroko and possibly others
