Hi folks,

I am making some wood toys for my grandson and for the first time ever want to use different colour paints to finish them.

I have done some internet research to find out the best type of paint and ended up getting more confused than when I started .

Does anyone have any advice.

Acrylic Craft Paints work well and are available in a crazy amount of colors. I also use acrylic house paint. You can get sample cans mixed in any color you want or my favorite, Home Depot Oops paint sample cans for fifty cents each. These can be brushed or sprayed.

For rattle can spray paints I use Krylon and some Rustoleum.
