Cut out with a scroll saw, then sanded the edges round, painted with rainbow colored acrylic paints.

Very easy to make.

Really nicely done, smooth finish and i like the character of the cut outs...not perfect ringlets but  the cuts have dips give the puzzle more character (no i am not being sarcastic, i truly like the asymmetry, it could even be pushed further)!

I printed the colour names on the back so the way it goes together is not too frustrating to a young child, also it may help them know the colours.

I also like toys that are not exactly perfect, which is good as my skills at woodworking are still at the beginner stage.

A lick of paint can disguise a multitude of sins. 😄
