That is a beautiful example of a wood toy Santa Sleigh. What did you use for the finish colors? They came out really pro.

I used DECO ART acrylic craft paint, the same paint I use to paint landscapes. It was a slow process, many parts required 3 coats to cover, paint one side, wait for it to dry, turn it over and paint the other side and then do this 2 more times.

muy bonito acabado para ese santa estoy realmente impresionado no tengo mucha experinciencia en el area de la carpinteria o la artesania pero esoy aprendiendo de a poco con lo poco que tengo espero poder crear algo parecido a esto algun dia.felicitaciones por su buen trabajo.[biggrin]

Great looking sleigh. Was it hard to get the scroll pieces to stay glued to the side of the sleigh?     Richard

I didn't paint the undersides of the decorative parts I glued to the sides and they went on & held in place very well (I made 3 of them, one for my daughter,one for my grandson and one for my wife, so I had a lot of practice)
