Made this for my son's years ago there now 33 years it will hand down to future Grand children which is the beauty of wooden toys anything needs repair just replace it. if it was plastic it would be in the tip. lol

This looks like it was a great project.
Wish I could do the dove tail joints like you do.
Did you buy the wheels, or make them yourself.
As you are the Phantom Scroller, I would love to see some of your scroll Saw work.

Thanks Ken the wheels were bought from a shop I could make them now on the lathe and as for my scrollwork as most of it is not toys you can view it on http://www.scrollsawvillage.com but I will go through my pics and try and sort the toys out shortly.
I'm looking forward to making more toys now because my first Grandchild was born three week ago yippee.
