I had milled some pine stock down to 1/4" thick and decided to give this plan a try-- I made 5 of these at one time.  To me its easier to cut out a bunch of parts at one time then assemble each one.  I painted 4 of them various NASCAR team colors and never got around to painting mine.  I keep one of everything I make  and am starting to re-think that decision! The painted ones were for last Christmas and I didn't get pictures of them as I was running out of time getting them shipped to their new drivers

This looks great. I love it! It is quite a coincidence that you posted this. I spent a few hours today researching ideas for a new car carrier for our product line. You did a beautiful job on this. Thanks for posting.
