Hi -
Nice Triplane.  How did you cut out the middle for the third wing?

Thanks Camnight for sharing your tri-plane.
It looks great.
What is the size of this airplane?

Tri-plane, haven't seen one of those for a long time. Looks good, can't wait to see the final colours.

Hi Cindy you can cut the hole with a saw drill or you can cut it with a scroll saw, that one was done with a
scroll saw before I shaped it.
Ken the size of the plane i body is 7" 1/8 the wings are 10" 3/4
Thanks Guys for all your comments George.

I was looking at your tri-plane again and wanted to ask another question if you don't mind.
It looks like the struts (dowels between the wings) are set in at an angle.  Is that correct, and if so how did you drill them to get all to match.
Also, does the center strut go through the body of the plane?
Another question:  Is the body tapered from front to back?
I like what you have done here, and want to look for one of our plans that might be close for the body, than adopt the wings to it.
Thanks for any ideas you might have.
