Udie's F-14 (with a couple of modifications)

A WTN (Wood Toy News) was published showing the build for the Top Gun Aircraft Carrier plan set as well as a follow up WTN on the PT-Boat and the Helicopter from that plan set.

What was missing was the F-14.
So here it is, with a couple of modifications.

Please enjoy the detailed description of the modifications I made during the build of the F-14 in the downloadable 'pdf' file below.

You did a really nice job on the F-14 plane, and the PDF was interesting reading.
One problem:  There is not enough photos of the whole project.  I would like to see more photos of the whole finished set.
Thanks for sharing the F-14 build notes.  When we put these notes with the pdf's you shared about building the everything else, we have a really good guide to follow.
Again, thanks.

Ken  - Thanks for the compliments. I'll have to take a look at my project build photos and see if there are any photos that have not already been shown in the WTN's that might be of interest. I know I have 23 separate directories of photos showing the build process and a few more with other information.

Cynthia -  It just happens that during the build I did take a series of photographs of the set-up and how I took the photographs. So as soon as I read your reply post, I grabbed a coffee and wrote a demonstration pdf on how I did it. I'll post it in a separate reply.

F-14 - Behind the Scenes - How they were done

The question asked was 'How did I take the photographs?'
Well my fellow toymakers, I am happy that you asked and as soon as I read the posted reply I started writing a little 'pdf' on how I did it.
So, below you will find a downloadable 'pdf' explaining my method. Enjoy.

Thanks Udie
Interesting write up about your photos and how you did them.
You did present the material in a manner that even I could follow.
This will help when we take photos.

Udie,
Thanks for sharing your photographic tips with us. I needed this!!
I was struggling taking reasonable photo's of my toys and will definitely try the curved hardboard approach. I will also try and get a tent locally.
Thanks once again.
Regards
Dolf
