This my latest toy - made from 3/4 and 3/8 pine with pieces of mahogany for contrast - enjoyed making this - took me about two weeks working on and off
enlarged the plan and train is nearly 6 feet long - hope whoever buys it has a big enough platform!!

Hi Alan,

This is a wonderful project and perfectly built. That's a nice choice of woods and the highlights of mahogany add a quality feel to your design. Is this a modified toymakingplans.com design or did you create it yourself? I like the solution for creating the coal. Well done!

thanks for that John
It is a modified Toymakers plan but adapted the plans to build with the wood I had available.

Yes! I recognize it now as a great modification to the 1955 Vintage Toy Train plan set. I love it!

Thanks for sharing your work.
Looking forward to seeing more as you build.
