Frankg: Nicely done Frank. Your colours really pop, is that sprayed on? If that is craft paint, how many coats? Excellent close up photos too.

Thanks Udie and Black Wolf, (Interesting name)
I followed the recommended primer and paint coats in the instructions. Two coats primer with sanding in between and 3 coats glossy paints with sanding between coats. and a final clear glossy finish. All painted with brush. I'm not much of a sprayer. Can't deal with the fumes or overspray. I love the hand touch of brush painting. That is the greatest joy of my work. If you look at John's video about painting toys, that is the kind of paint I used on this project. Krylon.
