Hi Folks -
See attached train from the Vintage 1955 Train plan.  I modified it slightly because my "product tester" broke a piece.  I made the side 1/2" thick instead of the 1/4" and I reduced the amount of overhand on the roofs.   This was a very fun build and can be done fast.

What a great job you did on the train set.
Good idea about beefing it up a little.
Having a product tester is fantastic - you are lucky to have one.
I'm surprised that you did not put "CTR" or "CT Railroad" on the coal car - LOL,

Thanks John and Udie.  Great idea on the coal car!!!   I think that is a keeper or have it available to customers to customize the train for their little person.

Good looking train set, nice colors.

I'm with Udie a quick decal for the coal car. Or if a pre order the childs name or initials would be even more cool LOL

thanks for sharing...

I love the colours you have chosen they bring the train to life. I always like the space to customise the toy

A great little train set. Looks like someone will have hours of fun with it. Like you I tend to change bits and pieces especially if I think that they are not rugged enough to take the tumbles of being play with.
