This is the VW Hippie Bus & Beach Trailer. This was a fun project and enjoyed doing it. The difficult part was when I cut the floor of the bus into thirds and trailer into two to accommodate the axels. The problem was lining up the three or two parts to lay flat, but I got ‘er done. John now has a work around that cuts a notch in the flooring but didn’t get to me in time.

The VW badge on the front I got from the VW site and scaled it to fit.

And as always thanks for lookin’

This is just out of this world. Brings back the memories of my youth! I was 21 in 1965 and saw San Francisco at the height of the flower child era. Great times.

Yours looks so much better than mine!! How did you make the VW logo on the front???? I ended up painting mine on because I kept breaking it when I tried to cut it

This is great.  The paint colors really work and great idea on the vw emblem.  This makes me want to make this plan next.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Yes, I think old hippies would be proud.

Yea, that VW logo, Meda853, I just got it off of their website and scaled it down to fit. I used Mod Podge to adhere it to a little 1/8" thick disk.

Thanks again.
