I modified the VW campervan plans to VW truck, not my best effort but not to bad.
The VW Logo didn't come out to good it made from a CD disc and the backing come off went I attached it to the truck.

Update: Have replaced VW Logo

Shedbuddie,

very nice and it looks like the real thing, with the motorcompartment being accessible.

The logo, can you paint it silver with Humbrol? So there is no glue affecting the coating of the CD?

Greetings,

This exceptional work. I only hope that someday I'm able to do a project of this caliber. I have lots of work to do to get to your skin level.

I love it! And I am VW fan and had my first bug- a 1959 model - in 1961. My father bought a new microbus in 1957 and we traveled all over the west and midwest in it. I loved the skylight windows in the roof.

This is a superbly detailed model. The opening flaps are a nice touch and the dark wood detailing around the body works well.

A small jar of humbrol acrylic paint from hobbycraft etc will sort out the logo, (need a steady hand though), if I was closer I'd come and do it, I'm in Essex.

I'll try this mod myself in the future. Keep showing your excellent work, regards Nick
