I am working with water slide decals for the first time. The ones I have say to use gloss oil spray??? Input please, and where do I get this?

Hello Med,

never heard of using gloss oil with water slide decals.

What I do after putting the decals on (and letting them dry) I paint those over with "parketlak", which is the same stuff for 'painting' wooden floors.

That 'parketlak' you can buy in gloss, satin of mat.

So would that be the same thing as Polyurethane? Do I just need to seal the image?

Are these pre-made or did you print them yourself? Decals printed on an ink jet need sealing with poly or lacquer before use.
