Hi Everyone

An old favourite this one. It was one of the first toys that I made using plans from here,
so I thought I would make another one just for fun.

Timbers are Poplar for the main body parts, New Guinea Rosewood for the sides and an African Timber for the Guards (Name escapes me at the moment).

Finished with Howard's Butcher Block Conditioner.

Rod T, Well done! I made this one as well and really enjoyed the whole project.  I wish we could get that kind of wood locally (altho we can get poplar) that looks quite good.

I love this great contrast of woods. This is the first plan set I bought still haven't build it yet. My daughter wants one so will build it soon. Great Job.
